PGMHA U13 Capitals

WHAT IS U13 CAPITALS HOCKEY?

PGMHA welcomes ______________ as the U13 Capitals Coach for the 2026-2027 Season!

The U13 Capitals is your players first step into true Representative carded-A hockey. What that means is a higher level of commitment to practice, games and some travel but with a focus on player development. This level has three, mandatory practice times each week focusing on Skill Development and Team Play. The team's League Play is dependent upon number of teams and acceptance and they could play in one, two or all three of the following leagues:  North Central District, OMAHA and/or the Northern Female League. The team will attend up to 3 out of town tournaments. To try out for this team, a player must be registered to attend PGMHA Representative tryouts. The player will receive a skills evaluation plus 3 independently evaluated ice times to see if they are ready to play at the U13 Representative level!

Hockey Format:

  • The team will consist of a 15-17 skaters and 2 goalies
  • This is a full travel team where the players may be expected to travel by parent-drive or bus and have team meals and activities together.
